Talk. We're listening.

The Conversation Engine is the voice layer underneath OB1. It listens, identifies who's talking, tracks the room, captures the transcript, and gives every conversation a memory that persists across sessions. Voice-first commerce. Voice-first customer service. Voice-first everything.

conversation · listening · recording
Three modes, ascending depth

From hands-free chat to full transcript capture.

Each mode adds a layer. Tap the mic to enter conversation. Say "start listening" to add participant tracking. Say "start recording" to capture and transcribe everything.

Conversation
Mic on. OB1 listens, responds, takes notes. Hands-free voice chat with your AI agent. The blue header tells you it's live.
Listening
Same as conversation, plus participant tracking. Faces detected, speakers identified, intel scans run, social context fetched. Pulsing blue header.
Recording
Audio captured, full transcript written, per-speaker DMs fanned out, session indexed in Family Brain. Pulsing red header. Every word kept.
Multi-speaker attribution
Diarization picks out who said what, tags each utterance to the right participant, drops untagged speech into the unknown bucket for review.
Convo Intel
Background dossier compiler runs per participant. Pulls social graph, recent messages, shared groups, gift history. Surfaces context as cards inside the conversation.
Wake-word ready
Always-on listening with custom wake word. Whisper STT for transcription, Fish Speech or ElevenLabs for replies. ~100ms time-to-first-word on home server.
Memory across sessions

Every conversation has a past.

Talk to OB1 about a customer, then talk to that same customer next week — OB1 already knows the context. Family Brain holds the transcripts; participant tabs hold per-person history; sub-brains aggregate the patterns. The conversation never starts cold.

  • Per-participant transcript history
  • Auto-tagged: customer / family / employee / friend
  • Searchable across years of audio
  • Encrypted at rest on your home server
