Capability registry

Each compute node declares what it can do: Ollama, Stable Diffusion, Whisper, Remotion render, web spider. OB1 routes per-job.

Heartbeat + auth

Nodes register via Ed25519 keypair, post signed heartbeats so the cloud knows they're alive. Quarantined nodes drop off the roster automatically.

Load-aware routing

If your desktop GPU is busy rendering a video, OB1 routes the next image-gen to the Jetson instead. No double-booking.

Energy metered

Every job costs energy. Heavy jobs on cheap nodes (Pi at idle) cost less than the same job on a busy GPU desktop. Cost transparent in the audit log.
