VP3 takes a small platform fee to keep the infrastructure running — but it's nowhere near the 30% that major platforms charge. Artists keep the vast majority of their revenue. Stripe processing fees apply on top, but there's no label advance to recoup, no hidden content ID taxes. Artists set their own terms, own their masters, and get paid directly. The .vp3 format ensures every play is accounted for with cryptographic ownership metadata that travels with the file.
